Joe Dante’s “Gremlins: 35th Anniversary” joins Kubrick’s “The Shining” on 4K Ultra HD - Oct. 1

WARNER BROS. Home Entertainment announced today '80s horror comedy "Gremlins" will join Stanley Kubrick’s classic "The Shining" with a 4K Ultra HD release on October 1.


Directed by Joe Dante ("Innerspace," and "The ‘Burbs") and written by Chris Columbus ("The Goonies," and "Young Sherlock Holmes"), the film stars Zach Galligan as Billy Peltzer, Phoebe Cates as Kate Beringer, and Hoyt Axton and Randall Peltzer, along with the voices of Frank Welker as Stripe and Howie Mandel as Gizmo.


Gremlins was produced by Michael Finnell and executive produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall, and Steven Spielberg.
